Salaam (Peace) to all!
The Power of Thought, Faith and Expectation should not be underestimated, for if every Action is the Expression of a Thought -- If I can THINK to move my body, and my body then moves; and my body (matter) is Part of Universe in which I live -- then THOUGHT has POWER to move the Universe!
In the Nation of Islam, we are taught that the average speed of thought is 24 Billion Miles per Second. We are also taught that Man is created with a natural tendency to be "hasty"...meaning, we tend to want things to "hurry up and happen" according to our desire.
However, what we generally fail to consider is the fact that, although Matter cannot fail to respond to Thought, Matter does not move as fast as Thought. It takes TIME for Matter to fully respond and manifest the fulfillment of our expectation.
This is why FAITH and PATIENCE go hand in hand. When you get an Idea or Thought for something you desire, there is a real tendency to want the fulfillment of that desire "right away"...and we begin projecting that Thought out into the Universe with the expectation of receiving a "quick" answer. But when the fulfillment does not show itself according to our expectation, we often give up on the desire, cease the expectation, and the Matter that was coming together as the answer to our "prayer", diffuses back into "nothingness".
For this reason, we would do well to be "flexible" in our expectation, and allow for the possibility that the fulfillment of the Thought or Faith we are projecting into the Universe might take longer than we expected to manifest itself, or might require another route or method than the one we expected.
The important thing is...DON'T STOP projecting that THOUGHT! Keep putting it out there (if it is of GOOD)! The Universe responds SLOWLY but SURELY. Be Patient and Constant, and you will Have what you Desire!
SEEK and Ye shall find...ASK and it shall be given...KNOCK and it shall be opened unto you...
...but be CONSTANT...Have FAITH!

It’s great to see another believer dealing with the thought pattern and the power of that thought. I am currently in school to obtain my Doctorate. in Psychology. I wanted to discuss the power of a fearful mindset and the effects it has on the person who is dealing with that fear. Most if not all of our fears are learned either from our parents or like you stated in another blog 'false data'. When we decide to really look into our past and deal with the true you and discover our true identity, not from the standpoint of us as a people but you as a person, one will discover some interesting thinks about yourself. I did this 5 to 6 years ago and really had the chance to deal with myself (still dealing). I dealt with my fears. Fear of public speaking, leadership, and success. I found that I was self sabotaging my success. I also found my passion in life (psychology). Not recognizing a fear leads us to destroy things that may bring up that fear without understanding what we are doing. We begin to burn all the things that remind us of that fear. When a person fears being looked at as great, he/she will do things to show himself in a lesser light. We will do things to remove the light from ourselves and not really be conscious of what we are doing. Even us in the Nation. Fear of being hurt emotionally by a spouse will make one cold and mentally unavailable to your spouse and will lead to problems. We really have to deal with these issues that we have and not let it destroy our ability to be ourselves. In dealing with yourself you might find out that this feeling that you have, has nothing to do with your spouse but more about past relationship(s) or your parent(s) relationship that you bring to the marriage. Just my thoughts and keep doing what you are doing.
Thank you, Bro. Heath, for your comment.
