A Critic's Response to "The Time and What Must be Done"

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful...the Best Knower...

Salaam (Peace) to all.

A Critic of the Hon. Louis Farrakhan wrote, regarding the His Lecture Series, "The Time and What Must be Done":

"i wonder if he'll mention what WILL be done, or what IS BEING DONE cause for 60 years these guys have been telling everyone what should be done."

Dear Sir,

When the Hon. Louis Farrakhan speaks on "The Time and What Must be Done", what you and I need to understand is that he is giving us ADVICE and WARNING in light of the approaching fall of this world under the Chastisement of Allah(God). After that, it is up to the INDIVIDUAL to use his or her own Divine Intelligence to make a Decision as to whether he/she will ACCEPT the Warning, or REJECT it.

Minister Farrakhan's job is NOT to hold your and my hands and walk us to safety, or to "impress" us with "signs and wonders". His job is to give us a clear warning of what is coming, and Guide those who make a personal decision to ACCEPT the Warning into an organized effort to survive the fall of this world.

Those who REJECT the Warning, for WHATEVER reason, do so at their own peril. The Messenger is not responsible for their rejection. They are responsible for their own decisions.

So, the Title of His Lecture Series could just as well read, "The Time, and What YOU Must Do...IF you want to survive the Fall of this world...it's up to YOU; but at Least you have been warned. Your Blood is not on my hands."

Respectfully,

RM

Reflections on an Execution...

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful...the Best Knower.

The following was originally written Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at around 10:40 pm.

Well, it's done. The man who was convicted of the 2002 "DC Sniper" killings -- John Allen Muhammad -- was executed by lethal injection a little more than an hour ago.

My heart is heavy.

My heart is heavy over all of the suffering connected with this ordeal:

...the suffering of his ex-wife -- Mildred -- who spent so many years in fear for her life and for the well-being of her children.

...the suffering of his children, who were denied the blessing of a stable family life and have now lost their father.

...the suffering of his victims and their families, whose pain I can't begin to imagine.

...and the suffering of the people who live in the area of the killings, who lived day after day in the inescapable fear that simply going about their normal routines could easily prove fatal.

But...if I am going to be completely honest -- with myself, first -- I have to admit that my heart is also heavy over the suffering of the man who was put to death; not just the suffering of "being put to death", but over the suffering he must have endured from the time he returned ill-affected from Saudi Arabia as a soldier in the U.S. Army, to the moment of his last breath.

In the Bible, we read that God created man in His(God's) own Image and Likeness, and that God formed man of the dust of the earth, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of Life, and then Man became a Living Soul.

In the Qur'an, we read that Allah(God) says, "So set thy face for religion, being upright -- the nature made by Allah in which He has Created Man. There is no altering Allah's Creation."

Thus, the fundamental inclination of Man, by Nature, is toward "uprightness", or, toward Oneness with his Creator; for he is a manifestation of his Creator.

Therefore, Man's greatest joy and satisfaction is derived from his acting in accord with the Will of his Creator, which is his Nature. Likewise, Man's greatest pain and dissatisfaction is derived from his failure (or refusal) to act in accord with the Will of his Creator.

What must John Allen Muhammad have experienced in his life that would remove him so thoroughly from the Divine Nature and Purpose of his creation, which is "uprightness", that he would think it rational to murder people who had done nothing to him?

What could possibly drive a Divine Being to think that he would be "helping" his children by "murdering" the Mother of his children?

And, how could he have had a moment's peace within himself, in the knowledge of what he had done...and what he planned to do?

It must have been pure "hell" on earth for him, and I can't help but wonder if there was a part of him that viewed his immanent execution as a welcomed relief from his torment.

Now that the cries for "justice" and "revenge" have been answered, I pray that we all will study this tragedy, learn from it, and use the lessons learned to help prevent a repeat of such an unfortunate series of events. Only then will Justice be truly served.

Thoughtfully,

RM

Hiding the Truth

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful...the Best Knower.

I recently read a news article (10-29-09) about the raid on a Muslim group in Detroit, Michigan, wherein a leader of that group was shot and killed by government officials.

As is usually the case, the author of this article found some reason or rationale to mention the Nation of Islam in connection with the alleged actions of an alleged "rogue" sect of Islam, along with making a feeble attempt to "explain" the origins of the Nation of Islam. And, as is usually the case when I read such statements, I made what I deemed appropriate mention of the fact that the Nation of Islam could not be sanely associated with such accusations.

I posted my comment. I received a message that my comment was "awaiting moderation". That was on October 29. When I posted my comments, there were no other comments posted on the article. It is now November 8.

Below is a copy of what I saw when I logged onto the page to view the comments section:

Salaam (Peace)...

Anyone who wishes to know the origins of the Nation of Islam can simply go to the Nation Of Islam's websites -- http://www.finalcall.com and http://www.noi.org. No need to rely on poor journalism...

And ANYONE who KNOWS anything about the Nation of Islam knows that we do NOT condone the use or possession of weapons. The FBI and CIA know this, as they have been monitoring us since they became aware of our existence.

It wasn't "American-born blacks who converted to the religion (of Islam) while serving prison sentences" who mass murdered thousands of civilians -- men, women and children -- embarking on a war that was started on the basis of a LIE (Iraq).

We in the Nation of Islam, under the Leadership of the Hon. Louis Farrakhan, are taught to not carry weapons, nor own weapons, because we do not NEED weapons. God and His Truth are sufficient for us...as was the case of Moses and the Childred of Israel in Biblical Egypt.

It's important to note here that Islamic sects such as the NOI and the Ummah are the illegitimate offshoots of a faith that espouses a very different set of beliefs. The NOI and the Detroit Ummah are not considered to be true followers of Muhammed by traditional Islamic standards because they reject the very first pillar of the Islamic faith, the "faith or belief in the Oneness of God and the finality of the prophethood of Muhammad," because they embrace the teachings of modern-day false prophets. The NOI and the Detroit Ummah are hate-based cults, plain and simple. They are no more embraced by the traditional Islamic community than hateful protestant groups such as Westboro Baptist Church are embraced by the Christian majority. They warp the message of the Qu'ran the same way other religious cults distort the message of God.

Why is MY post still "awaiting moderation", almost two weeks after the fact, while others' posts that came after mine were published?

My focus here is not on the fact that it was "my post", but on the actual CONTENT of what I posted, and why it was not published for the public to view...

What do you think?

What Is "ISLAM", and WHY is it the "Fastest Growing Religion in the World"?

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful...the Best Knower.

ISLAM could be defined as "a state of Universal Peace obtained through complete submission to, or alignment with, the Will of the Creator of the Universe". It is, indeed, the Essential Nature of the Human Being; for the Human Being is the embodiment of that Divine Intelligence which Governs the Universe.

Therefore, ISLAM refers to that State of Being wherein the Human Being is in Harmony with the Nature and Purpose of His or Her own existence.

In this present age, it is clearly seen that Human Beings are not in Harmony with the Nature or Purpose of their Existence. The lack of Peace among Human Beings is evidence of this disharmony within Self.

How is the Human Being affected by such disharmony?
How is the Human Being -- whose Nature is to effectively harmonize with, and give expression to, the Universal Order -- affected by a condition wherein He or She is unable to do either?

Such a condition creates within the Human Being feelings of dissatisfaction with His or Her existence, and the longer the condition persists, the greater the dissatisfaction becomes.

Now, imagine such condition -- with its accompanying dissatisfaction -- continuing for an individual's entire lifetime. Imagine such a condition of disharmony continuing among a group of people for generations...for Centuries!

Even more, imagine an entire world wherein Human Beings have been born into, and kept in, such a terrible condition all over the planet...for Thousands of years!

How great is the dissatisfaction among Human Beings over their inability to freely and effectively express and pursue their Divine Nature and Purpose?

How would these Human Beings respond to Guidance which offers them true and lasting relief from the pain of being out of harmony with the Nature and Purpose of their own existence? Would they not gladly receive it, as a thirsty traveler would receive water?

THIS is why ISLAM -- Peace through submission to Divine Law and Order -- is said to be the fastest growing religion in the world today. It is not because Islam is being spread by the Sword, because such is clearly not the case. [It seems more so that "democracy" is being spread by the sword.] It is not because Human Beings are mindless zombies who are especially susceptible to "Islamo-fascism".

If ISLAM is the fastest growing religion on the planet, it is precisely because Islam answers the need of the Human Soul for relief from the pain of a misguided and unproductive existence. Islam answers the Soul's need to be re-aligned with Its Divine (Universal) Nature and Purpose.

Islam -- when rightly understood and applied -- establishes Order in the midst of Chaos, and in so doing, it frees the Human Being to effectively and productively carry out his or her Purpose for Being...giving Him or Her true contentment with His or Her existence, despite even the severest opposition.

Islam is not a "religion" as such. It is the Nature of God and the Nature of Man, and was given to us "as" a religion to facilitate a return to Balance and further Growth toward our Divinity.
