OPEN LETTER to Mr. LARRY SMITH, @ Indiana University

In the Name of Allah - the Beneficent, the Merciful:

I bear Witness that there is no God but Allah,

And I bear Witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

To Mr. Larry Smith:

I happened upon your "opinion" piece for the "Indianapolis Recorder," dated January 24, 2019, titled, "Embracing Problematic Leaders is very American;" and I must say - after reviewing your "credentials" - that I am at a loss when it comes to understanding how a Black man, who forwards himself as being educationally accomplished, could so grossly misperceive reality.

Your feeble, clumsy and sycophantic attempt to defame the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan - a Man who, filled with Love for His People, has spent the last 63+ years of His life Working, Sacrificing and Suffering to Uplift the Black People of America (and abroad) - is not only grossly disrespectful to Him and to the GOD Who Raised Him for You and Me, and an Insult to the Intelligence and Historical Struggle of Your People (assuming, of course, that you consider Black People to be "Your" people); but it is a clear indicator that all the time, energy and money invested in developing your "credibility" has been for naught.

You began your piece with an outright LIE, referring to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as "an irredeemable racist, who hates white people - especially Jews."

How BLIND you are. The Truth is that Minister Farrakhan is a Divine Redeemer from Almighty God! His Works, and His People's Overwhelming Appreciation of His Works, testify of that Fact.  To refer to Him as "irredeemable" suggests that - in YOUR mind - He is somehow "lost", or "beyond reach or recovery from an errant path." It is NOT the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan who is LOST, Mr. Harris.

Need I remind you, Sir, that You - as with many of our people - are wearing the NAME of "irredeemable racists" who kidnapped your and my Ancestors from our Native Land and People, Stripped Them and Us of our Very Identity and Culture, and made us to worship and serve them - the slave masters - as God?

Need I remind you, Mr. Harris, that the people you are working so hard to "please", and win the "approval" of, are the same people who ENSLAVED Your and My Ancestors and who Brutally Worked them/us for more than 300 years, followed by 100+ years of Jim Crow, Lynching, Rape and Terrorism?  And they have, to this day, neither APOLOGIZED nor even ACKNOWLEDGED that they did anything wrong?  Yet, they still demand "submission" and "compliance" from people who look like You and Me?  Have you EVER fixed your mouth to call THEM "irredeemable racists"?

What kind of Black Man would slander His Own Brother who is GIVING HIS LIFE for him, to the pleasure of those who do not Love EITHER ONE?

You also said that the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan "hates white people - especially Jews."  Yet, you offer NO PROOF whatsoever to justify your libelous claim.

Did you know, Mr. Harris, that there are many Orthodox Jews, and White People, who KNOW and DECLARE that Minister Farrakhan is NOT "racist", NOR "Anti-Semitic"?  What do THEY see and understand about the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan that you, in your zeal to please white people, cannot see?

If pointing out the evil deeds of White People is "hate", then JESUS was a "hater".  If pointing out the wicked treatment of Black People by a segment of the Jewish Community is "anti-Semitism," then JESUS was an "anti-Semite."  Of course, we know that Jesus was NEITHER of those things, and We know the Same of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan!

Everything We do and say, as Human beings, exists within a larger Context, without which the true meaning of what we do and say cannot be easily discerned.  The Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan and His Work exist within a Context, and that context includes His view of Himself in relation to God, and God's Plan for Black People and for America.  Yet, You conveniently neglected to mention the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan's Self-Concept, and the MOTIVE that Springs from that Self-Concept. How does Minister Farrakhan view HIMSELF, and how does His View of Himself influence or dictate His Position and Direction?

We, in the Nation of Islam, are taught - and Believe - that GOD CAME TO AMERICA, in the PERSON of Master W. Fard Muhammad, and Chose the Black Man and Woman of America to be HIS PEOPLE, Whom He Would Deliver from the Terrible condition that Our former slave masters and their children put us in, and place us Back on Top of Civilization.  HIS Motive Was/Is LOVE...SUPREME Love, as expressed in His Words cited in the Book, "Our Saviour Has Arrived," by the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, on page 36:

"I am going to give him a key. I am going to give him the Keys for all of them, that he can open their cave-doors." "Open them up, Elijah, here are the keys! And tell them to come forth, that I am here. Tell them I will set them in Heaven at once - money, good homes, friendships in all walks of life." The Black man’s God. "Tell them that I have come for them. Tell them that I will walk up in a mountain 40 miles to teach just one of them. Tell them, Elijah, I love them!" "They have been here 400 years, and their is none that has befriended them. I am their God," He said , "and I love them. I will destroy the Nations of the Earth, to save them and then die Myself."

Again, His Motive...was LOVE, and He put that SAME LOVE in the Heart of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad for Us; and the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, empowered by that Love, worked and labored for 44 Years among us, to Deliver us from Our Enemies and Save us from God's Promised Chastisement on America.

If the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan calls JEWS to come back to the Righteousness of the Torah or Suffer the Wrath of God, should He be called "Anti-Semitic"?  If He Calls FORNICATORS and ADULTERERS to Come Back to the Sanctity and Virtue of Marriage..., should he be called a "Misogynist"?  If He calls WHITE PEOPLE to turn from the attitude of "white supremacy"... should he be called "Anti-White"?  And if He calls the members of the LGBTQ Community to come back to the Way of God, as Outlined in the Scriptures, or face the Punishment warned of in the Scriptures, should he be called "homo-phobic"?  Or, should He be called a Man of GOD, Who is Sincerely CONCERNED about the destiny of GOD's PEOPLE, and of Humanity in General?

The Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan has always presented himself as the "National Representative of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad - the Messenger of Allah (God)," as an Extension of the Love and the Mission of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad.  Thus, His MOTIVE springs from His LOVE for GOD, for His TEACHER and for His PEOPLE; and from His Desire to see Us FREED from the unjust rule of those whom you, now, happily serve. It is His LOVE for Us which Emboldens Him to Challenge and Expose the Wickedness of the Wicked; and, in turn, the Wicked call His Love, "Wickedness".  These are the people with whom you are siding.

There is NOTHING "complicated" about Black People's relationship with the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan.  We LOVE HIM!  It's that Simple.  We LOVE Him, because He has PROVEN that HE LOVES US!  We LOVE Him, because He DEFENDS us against those who delight in ACCUSING and ATTACKING Us!  We LOVE Him because He INSPIRES Us in the midst of a society that NEGLECTS Us!  We LOVE Him because He ACCEPTS Us in a World that REJECTS Us!  We LOVE Him because He Manifests and Embodies the BEST IN US!

That's why MILLIONS of Our People Respond when He Calls, e.g., The MILLION MAN MARCH, the MILLION FAMILY MARCH, the MILLIONS MORE MOVEMENT, and the 22nd Anniversary of the Million Man March!

To suggest that Your People don't have intelligence enough to know when someone means them well, or means them evil, makes me question YOUR intelligence.

You suggested that the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan has "been around too long" for white people (and the negroes who love them) to summarily "dismiss".  However, you did not go after the REASON why He has been around so long.  What KEEPS Minister Farrakhan "around"?  What FORCE and POWER Keeps Him Going...against such formidable opposition?  What Power Guides and Protects Him, and From Whom does that Power Originate?

In other words, WHY is the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan STILL SUCCESSFUL, despite the Fiercest opposition that the wicked can summon?  It is because the GOD of HEAVEN is WITH Minister Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam!

YOU, Mr. Harris, operating from the frame of reference of the ENEMIES of YOUR PEOPLE, call YOUR BROTHER who is Fighting for YOUR Life and the Lives of All of Us, an "irredeemable racist"?  What did they offer you, Mr. Harris?  What did they "promise" you?  Did they promise you "nearness" to them?  ...Acceptance?  ...Money?  What was your Price...30 pieces of Silver?

Your attempts to parrot the rhetoric of the slave-master, to downplay the True Value and Significance of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan really "tanked" when you tried, fallaciously, to equate Him with President Trump.  For you - a Black Man - to even attempt to draw such a comparison describes a mental condition which ventures beyond the realm of sanity!

HOW DARE YOU!  There is NO COMPARISON!  You cannot Rationally Compare the Position, the Work and the Heart of a Man who has TURNED DOWN MILLIONS (of Dollars) for the Sake of THE TRUTH and for the Sake of HIS PEOPLE; with that of a man whose Life as been dedicated to "making millions" at the EXPENSE of Truth.

I won't go as far as you did, in the case of My/Our Leader and Teacher, and say that you are "irredeemable," Mr. Harris, since the God Who has Come to Save us has Power to Redeem ALL who WOULD Be Redeemed; but I will say that you are DANGEROUSLY CLOSE!

A WARNING to You, Mr. Harris, from the Words of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, regarding the Universal Principle of JUSTICE:

"Whenever you accuse an INNOCENT Man of that which He didn't do, the Heavens and the Earth Cry out for JUSTICE for that Man; and the Punishment that He WOULD HAVE received, if He were Guilty, falls on the Head of the ACCUSER."

YOU have FALSELY ACCUSED the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, PUBLICLY, of that which He is INNOCENT of - potentially ill affecting the minds of your readers regarding an Innocent Man - and in so doing, have ACTIVATED the Universal Law of JUSTICE against Yourself.  If I were You, I would seek to make Amends...

You OWE the HONORABLE MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN, the NATION OF ISLAM, and BLACK PEOPLE in General a PUBLIC APOLOGY, and if I were You, I wouldn't WASTE TIME with it, for the GOD OF JUSTICE is Present, Today, and His Patience with the Wickedness of the Wicked is growing Short.

Will you ACKNOWLEDGE and REPENT of your Evil against an INNOCENT Man and the Millions Who Love Him?  Or, will you prove... "Irredeemable"?

Are The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam REALLY "Homophobic"?

In the Name of Allah - the Beneficent, the Merciful...the Best Knower:

I bear witness that there is no god but ALLAH, Who Came among Us in the Person of Master W. Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praise is due Forever;
I bear witness that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is His LIVING and EXALTED CHRIST;
And I bear witness that the Honorable MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN is Their Divine Servant and Representative, in our midst.

I opened with the above words, as stated, for a reason...ASIDE from the fact that it is a TRUE STATEMENT of MY BELIEF concerning these three Great Men.

My purpose for opening this "monologue" as I did is to emphasize the REALITY of the IDENTITY, NATURE and PURPOSE of these Men.

Recently, there has been a marked resurgence of an old effort to DISTORT and MISREPRESENT the Person, the Work, the Heart, the Spirit and the Motives of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan; by those whose desire is to prevent Black People in America - and Humanity in general - from properly Perceiving, and thus properly Responding to, the Man Whom GOD has Raised for their Deliverance and Separation from His and their Natural and Open Enemies.

One of the TRICKS that the wicked use in trying to accomplish their purpose is to IGNORE the TRUTH of the Mission of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan, while "Flooding" the airwaves with deliberate mischaracterizations and out right lies regarding His Mission, His Motives and His Person.  They use names to "describe" (rather, "malign") Minister Farrakhan such as "anti-Semite," "anti-white," "anti-American," "homophobic", etc. 

NONE of these labels belong to the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan!

I recently had a brief exchange with someone who started their comments to me with, "Why do you hate gay people?"  My response was, simply, "I don't.  Why do you believe everything you hear?" (The exchange is depicted in the enclosed photo.)

Of course, their comment was born of, and rooted in, the FALSEHOOD that the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan "is homophobic"; and because I am a Student and Follower of His (UNAPOLOGETICALLY!), then I, by association - this person concluded - am also "homophobic".

This is FALLACY and SOPHISTRY of the WORST sort, that of the WICKED accusing the MESSENGER OF GOD of WICKEDNESS in an attempt to divert attention from themselves.

The Scriptures are replete with examples of God's Prophets and Messengers being maligned, slandered, falsely accused, arrested, and even killed by the same people they were Raised by God to WARN.  Unfortunately, the wicked have always been so engulfed in their wickedness when God raised a Prophet among them, that they could not recognize the MERCY that is ALWAYS inherent in a WARNING; and instead of heeding the Warning, and changing their ways that they may be saved from the Chastisement that they had EARNED, they arrogantly persisted in their wickedness, and ultimately met with the Divine Chastisement and Ruin which they were Warned of.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, and His Followers, are NOT "homo-phobic".  He does not "hate" nor "fear" gay people.  The Truth is, as the Messenger of God to Humanity, in THIS Hour, He is the Embodiment of the DIVINE, UNMATCHED MERCY and LOVE of the GOD Who has Come IN PERSON to America, to Announce and Bring about the END of the time of the Wicked to Rule Our Planet.

As Proof of this, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan can be heard, Often, opening His Lectures in the following words:

"We give Him (God) praise and thanks for His mercy and His goodness to the members of the human family, that whenever any one of the members of this family strays from His Straight Path and loses His Favor, BEFORE HE PUNISHES, He always raises up someone from among the people to WARN the wicked, and to give good news to those who have suffered under the wicked."

These words from the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan are in complete harmony with what the Bible describes as the DUTY of a Messenger of God, which Minister Farrakhan is fulfilling:

EZEKIEL 3
17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Thus, the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan, in WARNING the People of what GOD has decreed, is Performing an Action of DIVINE LOVE and MERCY, calling the People out of the Darkness of rebellion against God, to the Light of God's TRUTH, by making known GOD'S TERMS for their Salvation.

If the Hon. The Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan is saying NOTHING to...or OF...the LGBTQ Community that is not JUSTIFIED by the Scriptures of the BIBLE and HOLY QUR'AN. 

If any of us have a problem with His CARING ENOUGH about us to WARN us of what we are Facing from GOD, then our Problem is not with MINISTER FARRAKHAN, as much as it is with The GOD Whom Minister Farrakhan Represents.  Of course, those who have that problem, your Problem with Minister Farrakhan is that He has the "nerve" (the COURAGE) to speak the TRUTH which CONDEMNS and CORRECTS our errant BEHAVIOR.  Still, Minister Farrakhan is a MERCY to Us.

Certainly, and unfortunately, there ARE those among the Human Family who DO "hate" or "fear" gay people, and mistreat or abuse them, ofttimes in the name of "God", but that is NOT the Case with Minister Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam!

If the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan WERE "homo-phobic", or "hates gay people," WHY would He go through all that He does to WARN them?  If He "hates" them, why not just let them FALL INTO THE PIT? 

If I truly "hate" someone, would I WARN them of their direction which I KNOW will lead them to misfortune? 

If I WARN someone of their direction which I KNOW will lead to their misfortune, can it be said - in TRUTH - that I "hate" them?

Come, let us Reason, together.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, as the Messenger of God among us, has a DUTY from GOD to DELIVER GOD'S EDICT, to ANNOUNCE GOD'S PRESENCE, INTENTIONS and WARNING, so that "whosoever will" might be Saved from the Chastisement that is on the Way.

If He is COMMITTED to DELIVER GOD'S MESSAGE, then he cannot, and MUST not, be dissuaded by the people's "likes" and "dislikes".  He MUST "deliver the Message", which is Born out of the Divine Mercy and Love of God, even if it means being slandered, attacked, or even killed by those who HATE the Message.

The Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan is NOT "homo-phobic," nor "anti-Semitic," nor "anti-white," nor "anti-American".  He is PRO-GOD, and Pro-RIGHTEOUSNESS.  He is the BEST FRIEND that AMERICA - and HUMANITY - has, in this Hour, because He LOVES and CARES enough about us to WARN US of the CONSEQUENCES of our Errant Behaviour, as adjudicated by GOD, HIMSELF.

Accusing Minister Farrakhan of "wickedness" will not save the wicked from God's Chastisement, but will only Hasten it.  ALL OF US would be WISE to LISTEN to the Warning that God has Given the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan for Us, and REFLECT WITHIN OURSELVES on Its Relevance to Ourselves and Our Ultimate Destinies.
