"Woe to Every Slanderer..."

In the Name of Allah (God), the Beneficent, the Merciful...the Best Knower.

Salaam (Peace) to all.

Allah says, in the Holy Qur'an: "Woe to every slanderer, defamer!"

"Woe" is defined as "Deep distress or misery, as from grief; wretchedness; regret; Misfortune; calamity".

To "Slander" is defined as to "charge falsely or with malicious intent; attack the good name and reputation of someone".

To "defame" is "to attack the good name or reputation of, as by uttering or publishing maliciously or falsely anything injurious".

The implication here is that even if the thing being reported is True, if the reporter's intention is to bring unwarranted harm to the accused, he or she is guilty of "slander" and/or "defamation".

Why should "deep distress or misery, as from grief" come to those who "attack the good name or reputation" of others "by uttering or publishing maliciously or falsely anything injurious"?

The Hon. Elijah Muhammad once said, in words, that whenever a Man is falsely accused, the heavens and the earth cry out for Justice for that innocent Man; and the punishment that would have fallen on the innocent man, if he were guilty, falls on the accuser.

One of the Principles upon which the Universe - of which we all are integral parts - is constructed is the Principle of Justice. In order for Balance and Harmony to be maintained in the Universe, there must be a constant application of the Law of Justice to "neutralize" or "correct" any violations of those principles of Balance and Harmony.

When a person formulates an intention to cause harm to an innocent Man or Woman (whether physical harm or harm to his or her reputation) by way of spoken or written word, that person is generating an 'Imbalance' in the Universal Order of things, seeking to impose an effect upon another who is not Naturally Deserving of it. In doing so, the 'accuser' is activating the Universal Law of Justice - which is designed to restore Balance and Harmony - against himself.

The Hon. Elijah Muhammad also said that if the accuser corrects his error, and makes amends from a sincere motivation...in TIME, he can "deactivate" that Law against himself, and we say he is "forgiven".

This is why it is so very important that we do not take the power of speech for granted, and that we keep in mind that with freedom comes responsibility. With the freedom of speech comes the responsibility to make sure that our speech is Truthful and Warranted, lest we harm others, and ultimately bring "woe" upon ourselves.

It is no sin to "disagree" with another Being's point of view. The "sin" is in allowing our disagreements to cause us to violate the principle of Justice and Fairness in our interactions with one another.

We will all be held accountable for what we set in motion...especially nowadays.

Let us be careful.

Peace to those who Seek Peace.

Is POLYTHEISM "Evil"?

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful…the Best Knower.

Salaam (Peace) to all.

“Allah has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there with Him any (other) god — in that case would each god have taken away what he created, and some of them would have overpowered others. Glory be to Allah above what they describe…”
–Holy Qur’an 23:91

“Evil” is defined as:
1. morally wrong or bad; immoral; wicked: evil deeds; an evil life.
2. harmful; injurious: evil laws.
3. characterized or accompanied by misfortune or suffering; unfortunate; disastrous: to be fallen on evil days.
4. due to actual or imputed bad conduct or character: an evil reputation.
5. marked by anger, irritability, irascibility, etc.: He is known for his evil disposition.

Scientifically (Mathematically) speaking, “evil” is anything that deviates from the Universal Nature and Order of Creation, as established by the Creator. It is a state or condition of “incorrectness”, to a degree that produces more harm than good.

“Polytheism” is the belief in more than one god that is worthy of worship. Although this is a belief system that is accepted by many peoples and cultures, there is the question of whether or not it is supported by the Natural Order of Creation.

The Law of Cause and Effect shows that every “cause” produces a like “effect”. Conversely, the Nature of “Cause” can be ascertained by a careful study of the Nature of its “effects”.

If the Creator is “Cause”, then Creation would be “effect”.

If there were “many gods” to whom “cause” – and therefore, “Self-Creation” and “Independence” – could be attributed, knowing that no two “causes” can be exactly alike, then multiple independent “causes” (Creators) would produce multiple independent “effects” (creations), which would thus disallow “unity”. “Unity”, by definition, suggests unique, inter-dependent “parts” revolving around a singular Idea or Purpose.

There may exist many “gods”, but only ONE can have the attribute and/or function of “First Cause”, and thus be worthy of worship. The “Lesser” gods act on the Wisdom and Power of the Supreme God, and are thus not worthy of worship, not having the Nature of “Cause” independent of the “First” Cause.

Additionally, if there were multiple Self-Created and Independent Gods – none of them being exactly like any other – then each would have its own unique INTENTION for Its Existence, which would not be compatible with the Unique Intentions of the Other Independent, Self-Created Gods. Thus would each God have to separate from every other God to have space enough to pursue and realize His Own unique Intention without interfering with the other Gods and THEIR Intentions, and without “being interfered with” by Them.

Consequently, each God would have no Knowledge (experience) of the other Gods’ Works (Universes); nor would the Inhabitants of each God’s Universe have any Knowledge (experience) of any other Universe (or the God who Created it), and would thus be bound to the “One God” over that Universe in which they live.

The “evil” (incorrectness) of poly-theism – the belief in “many gods” worthy of worship as “Cause” – is that it undermines the singularity and Intention of “Cause” (God) in the Universe, and it undermines the singularity and Purpose of Creation (effect); both of which are necessary for Life to be conceived and sustained in the midst of random motion.

If the Universe were to be subjected to the doctrine of “multiple independent causes” (poly-theism), It would most certainly be torn apart – each part being carried away with its respective “Independent Cause” (God).

Likewise, if there were multiple “Independent Causes” (Gods), each with Its Own independent reality, then to bring them and their respective realities (universes) together “as one” – in the exact same space and time – would be as effective as trying to completely merge multiple human bodies together in the exact same space and Time. Such effort would destroy the lives of ALL bodies.

Can the Planets revolve around more than ONE Sun?
Can the Human Family live on more than ONE Earth?
Can a Nation revolve around more than ONE Vision?
Can a Child have more than ONE Progenitor (Father)?
Can a Normal Human Body have more than ONE Capita (Head)?

From a scientific standpoint, “poly-theism” is considered “Incorrect” (evil) because it is out of harmony with the Universal Nature and Order of Creation. The whole of the Universal Order – at least that portion that is accessible to us – bears witness to the Oneness of the Creator.

“No religion is worthwhile if its roots are not found in the universal order of things.”
-Hon. Elijah Muhammad

What Is "ISLAM", and WHY is it the "Fastest Growing Religion in the World"?

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful...the Best Knower.

ISLAM could be defined as "a state of Universal Peace obtained through complete submission to, or alignment with, the Will of the Creator of the Universe". It is, indeed, the Essential Nature of the Human Being; for the Human Being is the embodiment of that Divine Intelligence which Governs the Universe.

Therefore, ISLAM refers to that State of Being wherein the Human Being is in Harmony with the Nature and Purpose of His or Her own existence.

In this present age, it is clearly seen that Human Beings are not in Harmony with the Nature or Purpose of their Existence. The lack of Peace among Human Beings is evidence of this disharmony within Self.

How is the Human Being affected by such disharmony?
How is the Human Being -- whose Nature is to effectively harmonize with, and give expression to, the Universal Order -- affected by a condition wherein He or She is unable to do either?

Such a condition creates within the Human Being feelings of dissatisfaction with His or Her existence, and the longer the condition persists, the greater the dissatisfaction becomes.

Now, imagine such condition -- with its accompanying dissatisfaction -- continuing for an individual's entire lifetime. Imagine such a condition of disharmony continuing among a group of people for generations...for Centuries!

Even more, imagine an entire world wherein Human Beings have been born into, and kept in, such a terrible condition all over the planet...for Thousands of years!

How great is the dissatisfaction among Human Beings over their inability to freely and effectively express and pursue their Divine Nature and Purpose?

How would these Human Beings respond to Guidance which offers them true and lasting relief from the pain of being out of harmony with the Nature and Purpose of their own existence? Would they not gladly receive it, as a thirsty traveler would receive water?

THIS is why ISLAM -- Peace through submission to Divine Law and Order -- is said to be the fastest growing religion in the world today. It is not because Islam is being spread by the Sword, because such is clearly not the case. [It seems more so that "democracy" is being spread by the sword.] It is not because Human Beings are mindless zombies who are especially susceptible to "Islamo-fascism".

If ISLAM is the fastest growing religion on the planet, it is precisely because Islam answers the need of the Human Soul for relief from the pain of a misguided and unproductive existence. Islam answers the Soul's need to be re-aligned with Its Divine (Universal) Nature and Purpose.

Islam -- when rightly understood and applied -- establishes Order in the midst of Chaos, and in so doing, it frees the Human Being to effectively and productively carry out his or her Purpose for Being...giving Him or Her true contentment with His or Her existence, despite even the severest opposition.

Islam is not a "religion" as such. It is the Nature of God and the Nature of Man, and was given to us "as" a religion to facilitate a return to Balance and further Growth toward our Divinity.

What was Jesus' Religion?

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful...the Best Knower.

In the Nation of Islam, we are taught from Master Fard Muhammad -- the Teacher of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad -- that "Christianity" is 551 years old. It is not that the Teachings of Jesus of Nazareth is 551 years old, but that "Christianity" as an institution and a name is 551 years old. This was taught to us beginning in the year 1934.

If, in 1934, "Christianity" was "551 years old", that would take us back to the year, 1383.

With that in mind...check this out...

Christian
O.E. cristen, from L. Christianus, from Gk. christianos, from Christos (see
Christ). First used in Antioch, according to Acts xi.25-26.
Christianity "the religion of Christ," is from c.1303. Christian Science is from 1863.

And this...

Online Etymology Dictionary - Cite This Source - Share This

Christ
O.E. crist, from L. Christus, from Gk. khristos "the anointed" (translation of Heb. mashiah, see messiah), from khriein "to rub, anoint," title given to Jesus of Nazareth.
The L. term (Christus) drove out O.E. h¿land "healer" as the preferred descriptive term for Jesus. A title, treated as a proper name in O.E., but not regularly capitalized until 17c. Pronunciation with long -i- is result of Ir. missionary work in England, 7c.-8c. The Ch- form, regular since c.1500, was rare before. Christmas is O.E. Cristes m¿sse and retains original vowel sound; Father Christmas first attested in a carol attributed to Richard Smart, Rector of Plymtree (Devon) from 1435-77. Christmas tree first attested 1835 in Amer.Eng., from Ger. Weihnachtsbaum. Christmas cards first designed 1843, popular by 1860s.

In light of the above, we are compelled to ask a very important question:

If the name "Christianity" was not in usage until around 1303 (or as late as 1383) -- which means more than 1,300 years AFTER the advent of Jesus, then what name did JESUS give to the doctrine that he taught?

It is also worthy of note that "Christ" is a "Greco-Latin" word, and Jesus did not speak either Greek nor Latin, according to history. Which leads us to a second question...

How did the Teachings of a Man who spoke neither Greek nor Latin come to be named in "Greco-Latin" terminology? Why don't we refer to the religion Jesus brought in the Language that JESUS spoke -- Aramaic and/or Hebrew?

This is not to discredit JESUS or what He Taught. It is simply to provoke deep thought into that which has been given to the world in His Name.

All comments welcomed.

"Why Must There Be One True Religion...?"

Salaam (Peace) to all.

The question was asked, "Why Must There Be One True Religion? Why is it Christianity?"

Quite Simply, there can be only One "True" Religion because there is only One "True" God.

We have it from the Bible that "God is not the author of confusion, but of peace." This could not be possible if God sanctioned more than one "religion" or "path" to Himself.

From the Qur'anic perspective, we are instructed that, "If there were in [the heavens and the earth] gods besides Allah, they would both have been in disorder. So glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Throne, being above what they describe!

The planets in our solar system revolve around One Sun.All Life on this Planet depends on One Water. All Humans have One basic Form, and share One Divine Essence or "Spirit".

However, the Fact that there is One True God, and One True "Religion" does NOT mean that there will be only ONE INTERPRETATION or VIEWPOINT of God and His True Religion.

Therefore, it is not wise to assume that just because another's view of God and His True Religion is "different from mine", it is automatically "wrong".

Unfortunately, too few "religious" people are willing enough to consider that their view of the "True" religion could be incomplete, or altogether incorrect. And so, we become like spiritual children, unable to see past the apparent differences between various religions to the common Principles of Truth and Righteousness that are the foundation of ALL Divinely inspired Religions.

There is only One True Religion, and it could be summed up as "Obey God!"Now, one may call it "Christianity", another may call it "Judaism", another may call it Islam, and yet another, "Buddhism", etc, and so on.

If we are more concerned about the "name" attached to it, than we are concerned about the Principles that undergird it, then we will no doubt end up serving Satan, THINKING we are serving God.

According to the Bible, Jesus said, "Many shall come to me in that day, saying, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works?' And I will say unto them, 'Depart from me, ye that work iniquity; I know you not.' "

These unfortunate souls "believed" they were on the right path, because the were doing all that they did -- much of which they saw JESUS do -- in the NAME of Jesus, but evidently they were misssing something more important than just emulation of what they Saw and working in His "name".

They missed a PRINCIPLE...the Essential Principle upon which Jesus' Life and Teachings were based. Jesus, according to the Bible, didn't care what people "called" themselves. He was more concerned with what was in their Hearts...and even moreso, He was concerned with healing the sin-sick soul, and making the wounded whole. He was interested in Resurrecting the Spirit of God in Man.

Apparently, these "self-righteous" disciples or servants of His were more concerned with "appearing" to be good Christians than they were concerned with "being" good Christians.

While I agree that there is only One True God, and only One True Religion, and I also believe that Jesus was one of the Greatest Exponents of the One True God and the One True Religion; I find it very interesting that the Jesus of the Bible never gave a "name" to what He Taught as a "religion".

Respectfully,

RM
